Guide
Faith and Persian dating
The Iranian diaspora includes Muslims, Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians, Baha'is, the spiritual and the firmly secular. On a dating app, being clear early is a kindness.
Say what is true for you
Dor Dor's optional religious practice field lets you choose practising, sometimes, not practising or spiritual. It is optional, you can remove it at any time, and we treat it as sensitive information: it is used only to show your profile and, with Premium, to filter.
Talking about it
Ask about traditions rather than labels: how someone spends Nowruz, Ramadan, Passover or Christmas, whether they want children raised with a faith. Those answers say more than a single word.
Respect
Our community guidelines do not allow abuse about anyone's religion or lack of one. Report it and a person will act.
Dor Dor is a dating app for Persians living outside Iran, in Persian and English, with every photo checked by a person. What Dor Dor is.
