How the Persian dating app works
Sign in with Apple or email, tell us your name, birthday and city, add two photos, and your street opens. Here is everything in between.
1. Sign up in two minutes
No password: on iPhone use Sign in with Apple, or on any phone a six-digit code sent to your email. Add your first name, your birthday (you must be 18 or over, and it cannot be changed later), who you are and who you want to see, your city, and at least two photos. Location is used once to find your city and is never stored.
2. Your street
Profiles come one card at a time. Tap the sides of a photo to see the next one, swipe up or tap the card for the full profile. Swipe right to flash, left to pass. A double flash puts your card at the top of their street with a gold glow; everyone gets one a week free.
3. Matches and chat
When two people flash each other it is a match, and a short safety note appears before the first message. Chat shows when a message is delivered and read (you can turn read receipts off), and you can unsend a message within an hour. Report or block from the chat menu at any time.
4. Filters
Free filters: age, distance, what someone is looking for, languages, whether they have a bio and more than one photo. Premium adds height, smoking, children, religious practice and interests.
5. Premium and Boosts
Premium shows you everyone who flashed you, gives you more double flashes, lets you add a note to a flash, rewind a pass, browse incognito and get one Boost a month. A Boost puts you at the front of streets near you for thirty minutes; the Ultimate Boost lasts an hour. Prices come from the App Store or Google Play in your currency, and subscriptions are managed in your store account.
6. Photos checked by a person
Every new photo is screened automatically and then approved by one of our team before anyone else sees it. While it waits it shows as In review on your own profile. Photos must show you, without nudity, weapons, text or screenshots.
Frequently asked
Do I need a phone number?
No. You can sign in with Apple or with your email address.
How long does photo review take?
Usually well within a day, and often within the hour. You will get a notification when a photo is approved or, with the reason, if it is not.
Can I pause my profile?
Yes. Settings lets you pause, which hides you from every street until you come back, or delete your account.
