Safety
Safe dating, by design
For some Iranians a dating profile carries real risk. Dor Dor was built with that in mind: what we store, what we show, and how quickly a person acts.
What we protect
- Your location: we store your city, never coordinates.
- Your contacts: your email and phone number are encrypted and never shown to other members.
- Your visibility: you can hide from anyone who says they live in an Iranian city, pause your profile, or use incognito with Premium.
- Your data: download it from Settings, and delete your account in three taps (Me, Settings, Delete account) or from the website.
How we act
- Every photo is screened and approved by a person before anyone sees it.
- Report or block anyone in two taps from their card, the chat, or the Flashes tab. The last messages are attached as evidence.
- A person reads every report, and we act within 24 hours. A profile reported by several different people is hidden until someone decides.
- Banned accounts cannot simply sign up again.
- Dor Dor is for adults. Our child safety standards explain how we handle anyone under 18 and any child sexual abuse material.
Before you meet
Read our safety page and the guide to spotting romance scams. Meet in public, tell a friend, never send money, and report anyone who asks for it.
Frequently asked
