Long distance in the diaspora
With Iranians scattered across hundreds of cities, the right person may be a flight away. Plenty of diaspora couples began that way.
Opening the street
Your street starts near you and then reaches the rest of the diaspora. If you only want nearby people, set distance to your city or nearby in the filters, for free. If you are open to more, leave it on anywhere.
Making it work
- Agree early how often you will visit and who travels.
- Video call before the first visit, always.
- Use time zones: a morning message for someone eight hours behind is a nice surprise.
- Plan the first visit around something public: a Persian concert, a Nowruz party, a city you both want to see.
